Increased Action on Promoting Responsible Recruitment
In terms of criteria in choosing the recruitment agency, we basically look at their readiness, in terms of their staff, their facilities, their offices and their location. We will review if they are properly legally registered under Thai law. We sign a COC contract with them and we do a pre-departure training in the sending country.
We have to look directly at all of the agencies, because we employ 20,000 migrant workers and recruit around 200 workers for each cohort.

We called the embassy to check the standard rate and we found out the agency got a higher price from them. So if a lot of the workers are paying too much for their recruitment, how do they afford to pay for the extra costs?
So before when migrant workers came to my company, they pay themselves. But now, the company pays for them.”
